The New Eclectic Sound Experience
Satisfied by Kim Yarson - 2008 Recorded in Nashville, TN, Yarson does things her own way as a singer-songwriter. Her music is rooted in folk storytelling but is refreshing in her way of making ordinary experiences seem poetic. Yarson pulls from her experience as a woman of many faces: wife, mother, friend, lover all woven into a seamless tapestry of lyrics which allow you to know her aspirations apart from her music style. Standout cuts include, Expectation Vacation and Butterfly. Having seen Yarson in an acoustic concert, I can say that the polish of a recording studio doesn't outshine her natural ability to communicate effectively with her audience.
Thanks for sending the songs my way. I will sit down and evaluate wich one I should pick for airplay first.
But overall I must say that you have a fresh and well sounding approach. Great penned tunes and up to date material. Great Work Kim.
I for sure will recommend all my fellow friends to take a listen and a look at your website.

“Expectation vacation” is even catchier; makes you just want to book a holiday by the seaside, will probably hum this one also over the next weekend. "Once more” is the hidden jewel. My absolute favorite. Here your voice has that little tremble that makes it sound like Stevie Nicks. And the song itself breathes the atmosphere of a Fleetwood Mac song. Don’t know if you intended it to, but I love it. The last three songs, your voice sounds different: self-assured stronger, wider, with a twist when needed, the things I missed in “Satisfied”. I loved your album and know that it’ll be played a lot over the coming weeks. And it already leaves me curious for next ones. You’ve gained a fan."
